My name’s Karla Stephan. I design for causes, communities, and the spaces in between. What started as a creative outlet grew into a core part of how I work: at CKUT 90.3 FM, the Urban Justice Center, and the American Task Force on Lebanon, visual storytelling has been central to every communications role I've taken on. I'm a 2026 recipient of the Arab American Anti-Discrimination Committee's Dr. Jack G.Shaheen Mass Communications Scholarship, awarded to Arab American students who excel in media studies. I just finished my BA in Sociology and Communications at McGill University and am beginning my Master's in Media, Culture, and Communication at NYU Steinhardt this fall. For me, good design has always been inseparable from good communication.
